Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dai Vernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregg Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vernon comes to the cage accompanied by Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Valentine has chosen Downtown Swinga 96 by MOP as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gregg Valentine!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine throws a leg kick
and Vernon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gregg Valentine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vernon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Valentine connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vernon scrambles back to his feet.
Vernon closes the distance and clinches up with Valentine, looking for a takedown. Vernon pushes Valentine against the cage but Valentine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Vernon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
