PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Killah Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrick Skiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bee comes to the cage accompanied by Wu Tang Killa Beez - Killa Beez. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Killah Bee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrick Skiter!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skiter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skiter. Bee does a little dance to reset his feet.
A cross from Skiter lands.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Skiter enables Bee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Skiter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Skiter keeping moving, preventing Bee from controlling successfully.
Skiter pulls Bee in close to his closed guard and prevents Bee from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bee wants to control from the top but Skiter keeps moving.
Skiter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bee.
Bee won't allow Skiter to sweep him here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bee is looking to work some ground and pound but Skiter has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bee stands and throws Skiter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skiter keeps working.
Skiter taking a bit of punishment here - Bee scoring with strikes.
Bee lands a few punches from side control.
Bee controls the position.
Bee working the ground and pound but Skiter is defending the strikes.
Skiter tries to bench press Bee off him but Bee keeps the position.
Bee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Skiter gets back to half guard.
Skiter is doing well to control the position and prevent Bee from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Skiter throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bee is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bee wants to stand up but Skiter is controlling the position.
Skiter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bee is working away from the top position though.
Bee stops Skiter from getting back to his feet.
Bee wants to control but Skiter is keeping him busy.

Skiter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Skiter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bee throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Skiter misses the shot to the body.
Bee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skiter.
Bee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Skiter finds it's way round the side to connect with Bee's head.
Skiter connects with a body shot.
Bee misses with a double jab
and Skiter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bee avoids the body shot from Skiter.
Rodrick Skiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skiter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skiter fails to land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Skiter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bee cracks Skiter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bee doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bee moves out of range as Skiter strikes.
Skiter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Skiter.
Bee thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Skiter pushes Bee up against the cage in a clinch.

Bee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bee misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rodrick Skiter will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Skiter throws out a loose jab but Bee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bee misses with a few strikes there.
Skiter tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Skiter connects with a single shot there.
Bee takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Skiter jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Skiter is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Skiter throws a jab but it's blocked by Bee.
Bee misses with a wild body shot.
Bee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bee misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Skiter throws a shot from downtown. Bee moves away and avoids it.
Skiter throws a combination that misses
and Bee counters with a left and a right that stings Skiter.
Bee works the jab nicely.

Oooooh!!! Skiter has knocked Bee down with a huge combo! Skiter steps away and waves a wobbly Bee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Bee is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Skiter rattles Bee with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Bee tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Skiter dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Bee stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rodrick Skiter!
After winning the bout, Rodrick Skiter thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
