The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sibelius shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stewart Jr as he jumps to the side.
Sibelius lands with a nice body punch.
Stewart Jr misses with a wild body shot.
Stewart Jr throws the left hand but Sibelius avoids the punch easily.
Sibelius ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stewart Jr moves away.
Stewart Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sibelius swings widly with a right hand
and Stewart Jr counters with a left to the body.
Sibelius misses with a wild body shot.
Stewart Jr misses with a body kick.
Stewart Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sibelius.
Sibelius throws a looping overhand right but Stewart Jr ducks down to avoid it.
Sibelius throws a series of punches but Stewart Jr avoids them all with ease.

Stewart Jr lands a head shot.

Sibelius lands a jab to Stewart Jr's midsection.
Stewart Jr looks to land a right hand but Sibelius moved out of range.

Sibelius has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sibelius postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Stewart Jr badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sibelius around the waist but Sibelius pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sibelius is the winner by TKO! Sibelius jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Sibelius!
