Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nuppu Lupaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AB Sly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In Flames - My Sweet Shadow. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nuppu Lupaus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, AB Sly!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupaus misses with a takedown attempt - Sly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sly swats away the attempt to clinch by Lupaus.
Lupaus moves in looking to clinch but Sly pushes him off.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sly.
No joy there for Sly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lupaus tries for a takedown but Sly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sly takes a swing at Lupaus's ribcage but misses.
Sly throws a chopping leg kick but Lupaus manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lupaus slips a jab and a cross from Sly.

Sly is refusing to be controlled, as Lupaus sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lupaus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sly's head.

Sly wants to sweep but no luck.

Sly is trying to get back to half guard.
Lupaus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sly keeps working.
Sly managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lupaus.
Lupaus lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sly down.
Sly is looking for a sweep.
Lupaus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sly rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lupaus's guard! Nice work there by Sly!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

You get the feeling that Sly really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Lupaus lands with some strikes.

Lupaus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sly is looking to escape.

Lupaus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sly is in a horrible position here. Lupaus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Sly uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lupaus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sly as he jumps to the side.
Lupaus has Sly up against the cage in a clinch.
Sly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sly listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Sly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lupaus moves away.
Lupaus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sly, pushing him back against the cage.
Lupaus gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Lupaus wants to take a breather but Sly is having none of it.
Sly manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Sly throws a sloppy head kick and Lupaus moves out of range easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lupaus tries to close the distance and clinch but Sly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lupaus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lupaus is looking to clinch.
Nuppu Lupaus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sly tries a head kick but it misses.
Sly misses with a few strikes there.
Sly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sly is still on wobbly legs! Can Lupaus finish him?
Sly misses with a body shot.
Sly seems to have recovered his senses.
Sly uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lupaus.
Sly lands with a nice body punch.
Lupaus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nuppu Lupaus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lupaus shoots in but no luck this time.

Sly throws a nice looking combination but Lupaus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lupaus scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Lupaus tries to keep at a distance but Sly has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lupaus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sly fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sly throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sly throws a right and a left that Lupaus avoids nicely.
Lupaus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Lupaus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lupaus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sly pinned against the cage. Sly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
AB Sly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lupaus closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sly! Lupaus dives in looking to finish! Sly is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
