Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Clemenceau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clemenceau's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Frere Jacques. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor tries to sprawl but Clemenceau drives through with a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Clemenceau content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Clemenceau wants to pass to mount but Taylor is defending the position.
Clemenceau is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jean Clemenceau.

Clemenceau shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Clemenceau takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Clemenceau's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Clemenceau shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Clemenceau's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jean Clemenceau.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clemenceau, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jean Clemenceau decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
