The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nain lands with a right hand.

It looks like Werner Cloete has been cut.
Nain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nain misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cloete tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nain was well out of range. Poor timing from Cloete.
Keshvad Nain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nain tests Cloete's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Nain - that will leave a mark!
Nain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cloete shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nain defends it nicely.
Nain closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nain comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Nain counters with a left and a right that stings Cloete.

Cloete is breathing heavily.

Nain lands a big head kick that sends Cloete tumbling to the mat! Nain takes a step backwards and waves Cloete back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cloete is rocked!

Werner Cloete's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cloete gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
