Blackhill drops Verne with a beautiful combination! Verne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Blackhill is looking for the KO!

Blackhill cracks Verne on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Verne falls backwards against the cage. Blackhill follows up with more strikes that drop Verne to his knees. Blackhill keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Verne! This one is all over!

After the fight, James Blackhill was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
