The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Bunga.
Bunga throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bunga explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Bunga tries to close the distance and clinch but Scally swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bunga throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bunga wants to clinch up but Scally keeps it at a distance.
Bunga's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bunga duly obliges.
A combination from Bunga does no damage.
Bunga throws a right hand that Scally ducks under and follows up with a left that Scally also avoids with ease.
Bunga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Scally counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Scally drops back looking for a leg! Bunga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bunga manages to kick Scally off! Scally jumps back into Bunga's guard.
Bunga will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Scally stands up out of Bunga's guard for a moment - Bunga manages to land a nice upkick.
Bunga can't keep his opponent in guard - Scally advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Scally is looking for a kimura but Bunga is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Scally to get the leverage.
Scally is breathing heavily.

Scally is working for a kimura but Bunga is defending it quite comfortably.
Bunga is looking to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scally has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bunga defend it? Scally steps over the head and cranks it - Bunga is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Scally!
