The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bashor pushes Filipovic up against the cage in a clinch.

Filipovic tries to keep at a distance but Bashor has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bashor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Filipovic's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Filipovic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Bashor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bashor lands a leg kick that knocks Filipovic off balance momentarily.
Bashor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bashor moves into range and clinches up with Filipovic.

That kick from Bashor tenderised Filipovic's leg. Filipovic is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bashor drops Filipovic with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Filipovic looks back up at him and smiles so Bashor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up Mirko Filipovic's cut even more.
Bashor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Filipovic is breathing heavily.
Bashor feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Filipovic's calf.
Bashor moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bashor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Filipovic. That did some damage!

Filipovic sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Bashor lands a big head kick that sends Filipovic tumbling to the mat! Bashor takes a step backwards and waves Filipovic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bashor connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Filipovic covering up! Bashor comes in with a big uppercut and Filipovic goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
