Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mischievous Loki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West - I Don't Like (Remix) Feat. Pusha T, Chief Keef, Big Sean, & J. Loki has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Brandon Hunter looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter is looking to chop away at Loki's legs.
Hunter tries to land a front kick but Loki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Loki looks gassed!
Hunter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Hunter counters with a stiff right hand.

Mischievous Loki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter ducks under a wild hook from Loki.
A jab lands there for Loki.
Loki lands a jab-cross combination.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Loki sprawls well. Loki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hunter gets slowly back to his feet.

Loki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Loki. Hunter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Loki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Loki tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Loki to the ground. Loki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hunter enables Loki to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hunter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hunter throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brandon Hunter.
Hunter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Loki lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hunter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hunter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hunter moves away from the strike by Loki.
Loki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Loki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Loki wants it to stay on the feet.

Loki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hunter did well to prevent Loki getting side control.
Hunter is concentrating on defense, preventing Loki from advancing position.
Loki working over Hunter with some ground and pound. Hunter looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Loki thows a huge punch but Hunter dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Loki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Loki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Loki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hunter has time to react.

Hunter moves in looking to clinch but Loki pushes him off.
Hunter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hunter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hunter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Loki swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hunter trying to control the position but instead, Loki has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hunter into the cage.

Loki swings wildly with an uppercut but Hunter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hunter drags the fight down to the ground.
Loki distracts Hunter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Loki looking to sit in guard and control but Hunter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Loki wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Mischievous Loki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Loki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hunter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Loki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Hunter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Loki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hunter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nice uppercut lands for Loki. That snapped Hunter's head back.
Mischievous Loki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Loki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
