Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ales Zhandunka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Samba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samba has chosen Bezerker by Love Among Freaks as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samba on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Samba throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zhandunka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Samba was well out of range. Poor timing from Zhandunka.
Samba chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Samba takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Samba misses with a right hand
and Zhandunka counters with a stiff right hand.
Zhandunka swings for the body but Samba moves out of range.
Zhandunka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

enabling Zhandunka to counter with a crisp jab.
Zhandunka thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zhandunka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Samba manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zhandunka lands a really nice looking cross but Samba seems unphased.
Zhandunka is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Zhandunka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Samba.
Samba works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Ales Zhandunka has been cut.

Zhandunka steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Samba. That one must have hurt.
Zhandunka is looking to wear down Samba with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Zhandunka throws the left hand but Samba avoids the punch easily.
Horrible takedown by Samba or perhaps it was just good defense by Zhandunka which made him look bad.
Zhandunka avoids a kick to the body.
Ales Zhandunka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zhandunka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Samba throws out the jab.
Zhandunka throws a poor cross that misses
and Samba counters with an outside leg kick.
Samba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zhandunka.
Zhandunka misses with a body shot
and Samba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Samba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zhandunka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Samba.

Samba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Samba drives through and clinches with Zhandunka against the cage.
Good body shot from Samba.
Zhandunka is breathing heavily.
Zhandunka swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Samba has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zhandunka clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Samba lands with a hammerfist to the side of Zhandunka's head.
Samba just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Well, with Samba on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Zhandunka is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Zhandunka avoids the strikes from Samba.

What can Zhandunka do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Samba working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Zhandunka is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Samba has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Zhandunka taps out!
