Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hans Olson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juan Dos Santos !
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Olson thows a leg kick but Dos Santos checks it

and Dos Santos counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Olson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dos Santos on the ground.

Dos Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dos Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Olson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Olson tries to get out of the position.

Dos Santos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Olson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dos Santos has Olson in his guard.

Dos Santos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Olson is just riding it out for now. Dos Santos eventually gives up the hold.

and Dos Santos counters with a shoot takedown. Olson fights it but they end up in guard.

Dos Santos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Olson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Olson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Olson!

Olson throwing strikes but Dos Santos manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Dos Santos swings around for an armbar but Olson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dos Santos 's guard.

Olson is looking to work some ground and pound but Dos Santos has wrist control.

Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Olson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Olson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Olson lands a couple of elbows.
Dos Santos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Olson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Olson throws a strike but Dos Santos rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Dos Santos passes Olson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Olson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dos Santos 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dos Santos 's back!
Dos Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Olson controls the action.
Olson throwing strikes and Dos Santos squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
