Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horace Buckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evangelista Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nunes has chosen Never Be Alone as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckle keeps the fight on the outside.

Buckle closes the distance and clinches.
Buckle is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Nunes with an attempt at a knee that misses.

No joy there for Buckle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Buckle throws out a loose jab but Nunes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Buckle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nunes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nunes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Nunes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Buckle. Buckle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nunes motions for Buckle to come forward. Nunes throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nunes lands with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buckle throws a wild body kick that Nunes sees coming a mile off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nunes.
Buckle tries a head kick but it misses.
Nunes avoids the head kick by Buckle.
Buckle throws a series of punches but Nunes moves out of range.
Nunes misses with a wild combination.
Buckle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Buckle there as he acknowledges the shot.

Buckle has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nunes tries to land knees in the clinch but Buckle avoids the damage to the body.

Nunes has Buckle pressed against the cage, preventing Buckle from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Nunes throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Buckle blocks it with crossed arms.

Buckle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nunes drops Buckle with a beautiful combination! Buckle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nunes is looking for the KO!

Buckle is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nunes wants to clinch.
Oh Buckle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Buckle throws a low kick but Nunes moves out of range easily.
Nunes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Buckle seems to have got his legs back now.
Nunes throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Buckle's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Nunes dives in looking to finish as Buckle flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Nunes's strikes! Nunes is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Buckle's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Buckle was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
