Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim JohnILL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daron Laylay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JohnILL tries for a takedown but Laylay circles away easily

and Laylay counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Laylay postures up in JohnILL's guard and throws a big left but JohnILL blocks it.
JohnILL will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Daron Laylay hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

JohnILL seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Laylay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Laylay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Laylay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
