The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riggins moves into range and clinches up with Juliard.
Riggins gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Jackson Juliard has been cut.
Riggins creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Juliard's defenses.
Juliard is trying to stall.
Riggins lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That has opened up Jackson Juliard's cut even more.

Juliard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Riggins walks away with a smile on his face. Juliard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Riggins closes the distance and pushes Juliard back into the cage.

The cut above Jackson Juliard's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Jackson Juliard's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riggins using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Juliard has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
