The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Graaf closes the distance and clinches.
McFadden is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Van Graaf to keep the fight standing.

Van Graaf unloads a knee to the mid-section. McFadden lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Van Graaf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Van Graaf tries to close the distance and clinch up but McFadden swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McFadden shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McFadden was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McFadden is landing with some decent strikes but Van Graaf is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
McFadden lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

McFadden cracks Van Graaf with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
