Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Durham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jessie Elliot!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham shoots for a takedown but Elliot saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Elliot misses with a double jab.
Elliot darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Elliot scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Durham tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Elliot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Elliot throws a right and a left that both miss.
Elliot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Durham stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Durham shoots for a double leg takedown but Elliot sprawls well. He's pushed Durham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Durham tries to keep at a distance but Elliot has taken the fight into the clinch.
Durham is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Elliot is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Durham. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elliot is looking to break free of the clinch but Durham has double underhooks.

Elliot thuds his right hand into Durham's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Elliot tries to bum rush Durham with a series of wild strikes but Durham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Durham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jessie Elliot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Durham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Durham goes for a takedown attempt but Elliot pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Durham looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Elliot is fending him off so far but Durham persists. Nope, Elliot circles away and we're back to standing.
Durham tries to clinch up but Elliot circles away and keeps his distance.
Durham slips a jab and a cross from Elliot.
Elliot misses with a wild combination.

The crowd cheers as Elliot lands an impressive looking overhand right. Durham doesn't seem phased though.
Elliot lunges at Durham with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Durham's hand.
Durham is looking to clinch.
Durham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Elliot lands a left and a right that send Durham crashing to the mat, dazed. Elliot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Durham is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Durham slips a jab and a cross from Elliot.
Oh Durham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Elliot cracks a nice hook into Durham's ribs.
A punch lands to the side of Durham 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Elliot feints with a jab and clips Durham right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Durham is sent crashing into the canvas and Elliot leaps in for the kill! Durham tries to get to his feet but Elliot is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Durham is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jessie Elliot!
