The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocampo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ocampo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ocampo wants to work for an arm triangle but Faber is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ocampo lands a nice short elbow.

Ocampo is nestled in close to Faber, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ocampo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Faber with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Faber is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ocampo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ocampo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Faber is in a horrible position here. Ocampo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Faber is rocked!
Ocampo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Faber scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ocampo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ocampo stands and salutes the crowd.
