The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall scores with a takedown into Ryan's guard.
Hall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hall is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hall looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ryan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hall wants to work for an arm triangle but Ryan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ryan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hall wants to pass to mount but Ryan is defending the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hall lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall uses his free foot to push down on Ryan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ryan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Hall connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Hall postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Ryan out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hall goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
