Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamada Osaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Butcher might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Motörhead - Ace of Spades. The key to victory for Billy Butcher has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osaka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Butcher as he jumps to the side.
Osaka shoots in for a double leg but Butcher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Osaka takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Butcher lands a with a good body shot.
Butcher misses with a jab, cross combination.
Osaka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Osaka shoots in for a takedown but Butcher shows good takedown defense.
Billy Butcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yamada Osaka.
Butcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Osaka tries to clinch up.

Osaka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Butcher is staying active underneath Osaka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Osaka is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Butcher moves into full guard.
Butcher wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Butcher seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Osaka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butcher works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Osaka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Osaka wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Butcher lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Yamada Osaka has been cut.
Butcher lands with a big right hook that stumbles Osaka - he's out on his feet here! Butcher follows up with another monster hook that separates Osaka from consciousness! Osaka falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Butcher stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
