Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arden Botu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Botu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kid, pushing him back against the cage.
Botu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kid fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kid could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kid shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Botu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kid's waist but Kid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Botu off to one side.
Botu doesn't manage to clinch there - Kid circles away.
Ryan Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kid misses with a series of wild punches.
Botu looks for a takedown but Kid sprawls well.

Kid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Botu's waist but Botu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kid off to one side.
Kid dives in and grabs Botu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Botu pushes down on Kid's head and hops out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Arden Botu hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Kid rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Botu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kid has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Botu.
Kid shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Botu but Botu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
