Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiohun Rayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard's entrance music is Retaliator. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lombard tries to clinch up but Rayo circles away and keeps his distance.
Rayo throws a shot from downtown. Lombard moves away and avoids it.
Rayo misses the jab.
Lombard lands with a nice body kick.
Lombard feints and then cracks Rayo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rayo down.

so Lombard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
