Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephane Berube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berube moves in looking to clinch but Petrov pushes him off.
Berube tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petrov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Petrov gets caught flat footed, as Berube shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Berube trying to control but Petrov is working from the bottom.
Petrov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Berube manages to get himself to full guard.

Petrov drops back looking for a leg! Berube is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Berube manages to kick Petrov off! Petrov jumps back into Berube's guard.

Petrov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berube swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Petrov wants to work for an arm triangle but Berube is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Petrov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Berube is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Petrov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Petrov has an Americana. Berube didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Petrov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Petrov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
