Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jugo Tangcalagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyroil Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyroil Wallace told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tangcalagan avoids the head kick by Wallace.
Wallace scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Tangcalagan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wallace is trying to defend but Tangcalagan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
Tangcalagan is nestled in close to Wallace, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tangcalagan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wallace looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Tyroil Wallace's cut even more.
