PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cpl. Sam Fender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvid Nordemar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Fender and Arvid Nordemar. Fender comes to the cage accompanied by The Art of War. Arvid Nordemar told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordemar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nordemar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A combination from Fender does no damage.
Nordemar throws a head kick that misses
and Fender counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nordemar moves out of range as Fender throws a body kick.
Good leg kick by Fender there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fender tries a head kick but it misses.
Fender lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fender throws a low kick but Nordemar avoids it.
Nordemar throws a head kick that misses.

Fender looks to land a left hand but Nordemar moved out of range nicely.

Arvid Nordemar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fender throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A slow jab from Fender misses its intended target.

A head kick misses from Nordemar.
Fender throws a leg kick but Nordemar moved away.
Nordemar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fender.
Fender goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Fender lands a leg kick that knocks Nordemar off balance momentarily.
Fender connects with an inside leg kick.

A slapping body kick lands there for Fender.
Fender throws out a loose jab but Nordemar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fender moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Nordemar is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Fender throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Nordemar is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
