PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kriss Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel comes into the arena with Rev Theory - Hell Yeah blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Kriss Angel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kriss Angel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juri Boyka!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boyka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Boyka forces Angel back against the cage and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Angel's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Angel is trying to break free.
Angel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Angel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Angel throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Juri Boyka has been cut.
Angel plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Angel throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Boyka stumbling backwards into the cage! Boyka bounces back off the cage towards Angel, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Angel lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Angel celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kriss Angel!
