Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Malfacine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malfacine has chosen His Own Fight Video as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley instigates a clinch.
Riley throws a punch but it's blocked by Malfacine.
Malfacine controlling the action here for a moment.

Malfacine has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Riley uses from the top position.
Riley postures up in Malfacine's guard and throws a big left but Malfacine blocks it.
Riley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Riley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Riley distracts Malfacine with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Malfacine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Malfacine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Malfacine wants to take his opponent's back but Riley doesn't allow it.
Riley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Malfacine is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Riley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Malfacine with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Riley wants to hold on but Malfacine pushes him away.

Malfacine lands a big shot there that rocks Riley but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Riley defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Malfacine.

Malfacine is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Malfacine napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malfacine regains half guard.
Riley stops Malfacine from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Malfacine is just riding it out for now. Riley eventually gives up the hold.
Malfacine slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Riley is sitting in close to Malfacine's body. Malfacine has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Riley is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Riley is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Malfacine.
