The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffer lands a nice shot that snaps Desjardins's head back.
Buffer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Buffer blocks a head kick by Desjardins.
Buffer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Buffer tries to bum rush Desjardins with a series of wild strikes but Desjardins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Desjardins showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Buffer.
Desjardins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buffer pinned against the cage. Buffer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Desjardins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Desjardins misses with a head kick.
Desjardins tries to clinch up but Buffer circles away and keeps his distance.

Buffer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Buffer.

Desjardins bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
