Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoran Lippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lippo has chosen Lordi, Hard rock hallelujah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Randy Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lippo gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard.
Lippo stops Jones from standing up.

Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lippo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Lippo wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lippo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Lippo eventually gives up the hold.

Lippo is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lippo is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lippo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Lippo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Lippo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lippo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones throws a one two combo.

Lippo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lippo swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

Lippo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lippo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.
Lippo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Lippo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jones can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Zoran Lippo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Lippo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lippo wants a takedown but no success here.

Lippo walks into a jab.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Lippo seems unphased.
Lippo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Randy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zoran Lippo.

Lippo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lippo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lippo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jones has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lippo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jones.
