The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Johnny with that takedown attempt.
Bader is looking to land body kicks.

Horrible takedown by Bader or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnny which made him look bad.
Thai Johnny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bader gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bader manages to avoid it.

Johnny lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bader's sensitive parts.

Johnny has closed the distance and engaged Bader in a clinch.
Johnny using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bader has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Johnny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Johnny lands a big uppercut and Bader crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bader looks OK. Johnny waves Bader back to his feet!
No joy there for Johnny, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnny, as that shot connected.

Bader forces Johnny back against the cage and clinches.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Johnny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnny lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bader will feel that in the morning.
Johnny bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johnny scores with a jab. Bader acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Johnny lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bader circles away quickly and effectively.
Bader keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnny scoring well with a low kick there.
Johnny fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bader.
Johnny fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bader has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bader closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnny circles away.
Bader defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnny.
Bader shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnny but Johnny pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnny throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bader wants to land a leg kick but Johnny is out of range.

Johnny throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bader stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Johnny takes a swing at Bader's ribcage but misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnny thows a body kick. Bader tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Johnny tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bader manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Johnny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bader takes one to the chin there.
Bader takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bader avoids the body shot from Johnny.
Johnny throws a right and a left that Bader avoids nicely.
Bader is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Johnny tries to clinch up but Bader circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Johnny lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Johnny lands a really nice looking cross but Bader seems unphased.

A decent looking cross lands there for Johnny.

Johnny scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Johnny! Bader is out on his feet! Johnny rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bader is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bader is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
