The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams avoids the body shot from Sherbo.
Sherbo moves into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sherbo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Sherbo manages to break the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sherbo. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.

Williams dives in and grabs Sherbo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sherbo pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.

Sherbo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Williams is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sherbo is defending well for now.

Sherbo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sherbo throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sherbo throws out the jab.

Sherbo looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Sherbo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sherbo looks to land a body kick but Williams moved away.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sherbo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Blake Williams has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams is breathing heavily.

Sherbo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Williams. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Williams leaves his chin hanging out and Sherbo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Williams crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
