Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dejuan Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Dollar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dollar shoots in for a double leg but Gamble sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gamble swings for the body but Dollar moves out of range.
Gamble looks to land a combination but Dollar avoids it well.
Gamble tries to clinch up but Dollar circles away and keeps his distance.
Dollar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dollar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gamble drives through and clinches with Dollar against the cage.

Gamble breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gamble keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dejuan Gamble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Dollar.

Dollar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gamble knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dollar is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gamble has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gamble kicks off Dollar and gets to his feet.
Dollar shoots in but Gamble avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dollar.
Dollar connects with a body shot.
Dollar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dollar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gamble's waist but Gamble gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dollar off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gamble looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dollar tries to clinch but Gamble is having none of it.

No luck for Dollar with that takedown attempt.

Gamble misses with a takedown attempt - Dollar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dollar scores with a jab.

Gamble rushes Dollar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Gamble turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Gamble stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Dollar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gamble pinned against the cage. Gamble gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gamble shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dollar as he jumps to the side.
Gamble keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gamble shoots in looking for a takedown. Dollar tries to sprawl out of it but Gamble keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dollar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gamble tries for a takedown but Dollar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dejuan Gamble dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Dollar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gamble doesn't manage to clinch there - Dollar circles away.

Gamble rushes Dollar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Gamble manages to break the clinch.
Gamble will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dollar doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gamble decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dollar's guard.
Dollar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Dollar is working an open guard so Gamble takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
No luck for Dollar with that takedown attempt.
Dejuan Gamble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Dollar.

Gamble shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dollar is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gamble gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Gamble moves in looking to clinch but Dollar pushes him off.
Dollar shoots in looking for a takedown. Gamble tries to sprawl out of it but Dollar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gamble manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dollar looking to secure an arm triangle but Gamble defends it well.

Dollar has hold of Gamble's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gamble manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gamble wants to try and get back to his feet.
Gamble is controlling an arm, preventing Dollar from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Dollar in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dollar scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Gamble?


Gamble is rocked!

Dollar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Dollar looking to isolate an arm here. Gamble doesn't see it coming and as Dollar extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Dollar!
