Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamon Huge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Sonnen as Huge shoots in.

Sonnen dives in and scores a takedown into Huge's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huge working for a triangle but Sonnen defends it easily.

Sonnen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Huge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sonnen, into his guard.

Sonnen thows a huge punch but Huge dodges it nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Huge looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sonnen is fending him off so far but Huge persists. Nope, Sonnen circles away and we're back to standing.

Sonnen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Huge to the ground. Sonnen is now in Huge's guard.
Huge really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Huge working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sonnen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sonnen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Huge looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sonnen connects with a nice short shot to Huge's temple.

Huge is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sonnen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's time! Huge's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Sonnen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sonnen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Huge reverses the position - he's now on top in Sonnen's guard.
Brock Sonnen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Huge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sonnen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Huge is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sonnen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
