The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moura takes a swing at Thao's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Moura. Thao does a little dance to reset his feet.
Moura misses with a left hand
and Thao counters with a leg kick.
Thao scores with a spinning back kick!
Moura throws a lazy right hand but Thao sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moura blocks a head kick by Thao.
Thao closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Waldemar Moura has been cut.
Moura connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Mano Thao has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thao lands with an uppercut that bounces Moura off the cage and back into range.
Thao ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thao lands with a thumping leg kick.
Moura takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Moura takes one on the button.
Thao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A swing and a miss from Moura.

Thao dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Moura. That did some damage!
Thao throws a head kick that half lands.
Moura misses with an uppercut
and Thao counters with an outside leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Thao.
Moura looks gassed!
Thao throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moura throws a poor cross that misses
and Thao counters with a leg kick.
Moura chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thao can pounce on him.
Moura's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Thao lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Moura takes a kick to the side of the head.
Moura takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Thao lands a jab to the head.

Moura is rocked!
Thao shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Moura takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Thao sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Moura bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
