The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cox moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cox.
Cox swats away the attempt to clinch by Man.

Cox fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Man sprawls well initially but Cox persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Man is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cox's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cox's back!

Cox breaks Man's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Man wants to sweep here but Cox controlling him for the moment.

Cox drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cox jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cox is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Man is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Man has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cox looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there.
Man would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
