Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels throws out a leg kick but Weed moves out of range and Michaels only half commits.
Michaels misses with a body shot.
Weed scores with a three punch combo!
Michaels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weed moves away.
Michaels takes a jab right on the kisser.
Michaels throws a hook but Weed blocks it.
Weed has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Michaels finds it's way round the side to connect with Weed's head.
Michaels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Michaels misses with a left hand
and Weed counters with a shoot takedown. Michaels fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Weed throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Michaels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Michaels is trying to keep Weed in close.

Weed drops back looking for a leg! Michaels is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Michaels manages to kick Weed off! Weed jumps back into Michaels's guard.

Chez Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weed swings for the body but Michaels moves out of range.

Weed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Michaels is just riding it out for now. Weed eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Weed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Michaels swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Van Der Weed very nearly forgot to thank Meat and Two Veg amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
