Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo DeRosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Leonardo DeRosa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Leonardo DeRosa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before DeRosa has time to react.
Ball throws an uppercut from half a mile away. DeRosa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
DeRosa misses with a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ball crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from DeRosa - the referee stops the clock and Ball gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says DeRosa. Ball manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ball fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DeRosa manages to avoid it.

Ball lands a big right hand that sends DeRosa crashing to the mat! Ball stays standing though and waves DeRosa back to his feet!

Ball feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeRosa sprawling to the canvas! DeRosa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ball finish him?!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ball in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
