The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucky tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Happy Lucky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Belov counters with a shoot takedown. Lucky fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Belov is looking to work some ground and pound but Lucky has wrist control.
Lucky is trying to keep Belov in close.
Belov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Belov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Belov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lucky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Belov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Belov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lucky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dmitry Belov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Lucky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Belov throws a leg kick but Lucky moved away.
Lucky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Belov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Belov drops his shoulder and cracks Lucky with a huge uppercut! Lucky goes down! Can Belov finish him?

Belov loads up on a big left hand. Lucky felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Belov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lucky can't hide his disappointment, as Belov celebrates the victory.
