The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wynn fails with the takedown.
Wynn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wynn lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mullen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mullen trying to keep a closed guard but Wynn is proving a slippery customer.
Wynn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Mullen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wynn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mullen's guard.

Wynn is looking to take a break and control but Mullen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wynn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mullen!

Mullen seems a little lost for a moment, as Wynn dominates the positioning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
