Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spyde Radic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Spyde Radic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Quick!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Quick takes the fight into the clinch.

Quick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Quick pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Quick circles away from the clinch attempt
and Quick counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Radic thinking.

Radic rushes Quick and presses him up against the cage.
Radic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Quick avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Quick lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Radic backwards.

Radic tries to break the clinch but Quick is controlling the position.

Radic is trying to pull guard but Quick has him pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Quick's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Quick is trying to trip Radic. He has hold of a leg but Radic is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Quick persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Radic thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Radic is not content to let Quick control the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Radic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Quick wants to control from the top but Radic keeps moving.

Radic manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Poor strikes thrown by Radic there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Quick is desperately trying to improve his position but Radic has a good base and remains in mount.

It looks like Marcus Quick has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Radic goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Quick turns into him and now he's in Radic's guard.
Quick landing with the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Spyde Radic will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Marcus Quick's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Radic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quick pinned against the cage. Quick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Quick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Quick scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Radic looks for a takedown but Quick sprawls well.

Quick has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Radic is trying to keep an underhook but Quick manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Radic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Radic misses with a straight left.
Quick throws a right and a left that Radic avoids nicely.

Quick moves into the clinch successfully.
Quick lands with a short head shot on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quick creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Radic wants a takedown.

Radic is trying to drag Quick to the mat but Quick just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Radic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quick.

Marcus Quick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Quick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
