Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong has chosen GIANT KONG as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Bauer misses the target.
Bauer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bauer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kong ducks under a wild hook from Bauer.
Kong doesn't manage to clinch there - Bauer circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bauer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bauer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kong with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bauer to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Giant Kong has been cut.
Bauer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kong throws a leg kick which misses Bauer's front leg but catches the back leg as Bauer tries to avoid it.

Bauer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kong clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Bauer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kong has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kong is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bauer off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
You can see the frustration on Kong's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Bauer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kong is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kong and Bauer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Bauer will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kong swings wildly with an uppercut but Bauer uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kong is pressed up against the cage. Bauer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kong down to the mat. Kong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bauer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kong is fending him off so far but Bauer persists. Nope, Kong circles away and we're back to standing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kong. Bauer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kong has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Bauer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bauer has an Americana. Kong didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bauer is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bauer hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
