Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod The Bod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Log Bog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bod closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bog circles away.
The Bod takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The Bod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bog's waist but Bog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Bod off to one side.

The Bod gets a takedown into half guard.
Bog looks like he's trying to stand up.
The Bod tries to pass to full mount but Bog defends it.
The Bod is looking to take a break and control but Bog is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The Bod wants to free his trapped foot but Bog is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bog wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bog is refusing to be controlled, as The Bod sits in half guard.
The Bod with the ground and pound but Bog uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Bog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Bog throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rod The Bod. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Bod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bog's waist but Bog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Bod off to one side.

Bog throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Bog closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Log Bog is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Bod has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bog finds it's way round the side to connect with The Bod's head.
The Bod is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bog.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Bog darts in and clinches The Bod up against the cage.

Bog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bog looks to land a combination. The Bod sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A jab from Bog finds it's way through The Bod's defenses.

Bog lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The Bod is rocked!
Bog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Bod moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh The Bod is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Bod dodges the punch combination from Bog.
Bog throws a right hand that The Bod ducks under and follows up with a left that The Bod also avoids with ease.
The Bod shoots in but no luck this time.
The Bod seems to have got his legs back now.
Bog lands a jab to The Bod's midsection.
The Bod shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bog as he avoids it easily.
The Bod misses with a takedown attempt - Bog sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The Bod shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The Bod trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bog pushes The Bod off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Bog lands with a big left! The Bod is wobbled badly! Bog comes in with a flurry of punches and drops The Bod to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
