Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martin Huuhkaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huuhkaja thows a body shot but no joy.
Martin Huuhkaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Teitsi slaps away a takedown attempt from Huuhkaja, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Huuhkaja scores with a nice strike.
A looping hook to the body misses from Huuhkaja. Teitsi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Teitsi. Those never looked like landing.
Huuhkaja misses with a hook.
Huuhkaja blocks a jab.

Teitsi clinches with his opponent.
Huuhkaja tries to pull guard but Teitsi won't allow it.

Huuhkaja is trying to break the clinch but Teitsi is controlling him.
Teitsi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Huuhkaja blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Teitsi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Huuhkaja backwards.

Huuhkaja breaks from the clinch.
Huuhkaja drops his hands momentarily and Teitsi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Teitsi scores with the left hand. Huuhkaja knows he should have avoided that one.
Huuhkaja moves out of range of the strikes.
Teitsi throws a shot to the body.

Teitsi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Teitsi.
Teitsi misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Huuhkaja pulls guard.
Huuhkaja manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teitsi manages to get himself to full guard.
Huuhkaja wants to control from the top but Teitsi keeps moving.

Huuhkaja drops back looking for a leg! Teitsi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Teitsi manages to kick Huuhkaja off! Huuhkaja jumps back into Teitsi's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teitsi can do anything to dispel that myth.

Huuhkaja trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Huuhkaja accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Huuhkaja drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huuhkaja jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Huuhkaja is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Teitsi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Huuhkaja is controlling him.

Huuhkaja advances position into side control!
Huuhkaja wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teitsi keeps working.
Teitsi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Huuhkaja. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Huuhkaja tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Huuhkaja trying to control the action but Teitsi is working from the bottom.

Huuhkaja has an Americana. Teitsi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Huuhkaja is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Huuhkaja hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
