Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quazi Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moto has chosen D-12 - Fight Music as his entrance music. Shogun Rua had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shogun Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quazi Moto!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Moto misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rua is defended easily by Moto.
A looping hook to the body misses from Moto. Rua does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rua throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rua is in Moto's guard.
Rua is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Moto is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Moto has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moto stands and steps away. Rua gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rua tries to clinch up.
Moto cracks a nice hook into Rua's ribs.
Moto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rua counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Rua takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Moto swings for the body but Rua moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moto misses with a left hand
and Rua counters with a good low kick that Moto was not able to check.
Moto throws a body punch but Rua moves out of range.
A left and a right from Moto both land. Nice combination.
Quazi Moto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moto looks gassed!
Moto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rua circles away quickly and effectively.
Moto misses with a body shot.
Moto scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rua dodges the punch combination from Moto.
Moto keeps the fight on the outside.
Rua really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rua is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Moto throws a series of punches but Rua avoids them all with ease.
Rua throws a leg kick which misses Moto's front leg but catches the back leg as Moto tries to avoid it.
Moto misses with a wild body shot.
Rua scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rua has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moto is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rua yanks on the arm and Moto is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rua.
