The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker walks forward, straight into a front kick from David.

and David counters with a straight right hand.
Roger Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and David cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. David sees it coming and avoids it easily.

David fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

David fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Parker.
David fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

David unloads a knee to the mid-section. Parker lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
David crunches a lovely knee into Parker's ribcage.
David lands a right hand that snaps the head of Parker backwards.
David putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Parker in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

David breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
David connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Parker's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Parker - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Larry David decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
