Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Puempel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romero Jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero Jacare told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacare checks a leg kick.
Jacare sizes up Puempel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jacare misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jacare throws a series of punches but Puempel moves out of range.
Jacare misses with an uppercut.
Puempel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jacare.
Jacare will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jacare misses with a series of wild punches.
Jacare looks to score with a jab to the body but Puempel is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Puempel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jacare throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Puempel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Puempel thumps Jacare with a low kick.
Jacare lands a hook that stumbles Puempel back into the cage. Jacare follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Puempel to the canvas! Jacare pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Puempel has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Romero Jacare really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Happy Pills logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
