The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Funkyama lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Totsery looks for a takedown but Funkyama sprawls well.
Funkyama misses with a low kick.
Totsery tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Funkyama counters with a stiff right hand.
That kick from Funkyama tenderised Totsery's leg. Totsery is trying to keep his angry face on.

Funkyama throws a head kick that misses.
A lazy left from Funkyama finds it's target.

It looks like Mashito Totsery has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Totsery tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Funkyama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Totsery darts in and clinches Funkyama up against the cage.
Totsery prevents a body shot from Funkyama.

Funkyama stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Totsery tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Funkyama smiles and moves away.
Budo Funkyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mashito Totsery.
Totsery shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Funkyama sprawls well. Funkyama wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Totsery gets slowly back to his feet.
Budo Funkyama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Totsery tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Funkyama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Funkyama lands a head kick. Totsery smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Funkyama lands a big head kick that sends Totsery tumbling to the mat! Funkyama takes a step backwards and waves Totsery back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Totsery is rocked!
Totsery looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Funkyama drops Totsery with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Totsery looks back up at him and smiles so Funkyama waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Totsery is still on wobbly legs! Can Funkyama finish him?
Funkyama ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Totsery's jaw. Totsery's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Funkyama does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
