Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrki Jyytti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jyytti has chosen Mass Destruction (Reincarnation) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheers as Jyytti lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Nathan Jones has been cut.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Jyytti, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones works over Jyytti's head and body with a nice combination.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jyytti throws a head kick that half lands.
Jyytti is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jyytti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jyytti seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.

Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jyytti finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Jones throws a right hand that Jyytti ducks under and follows up with a left that Jyytti also avoids with ease.

Nathan Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jyrki Jyytti.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones is looking to clinch but Jyytti is avoiding it.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jyytti lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jyytti.

Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jyytti cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.
Jones wants to clinch up but Jyytti keeps it at a distance.
Jyytti looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jyytti lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Jeez, Nathan Jones's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jyytti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jyytti lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Jyytti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jones is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nathan Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jyrki Jyytti!
Jyrki Jyytti opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
