The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake fails to land with a series of punches.
Drake misses with a double jab.
Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Drake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Torres has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torres is defended easily by Drake.
Andy Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kid Torres.

Drake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Drake counters with a three punch combo that has Torres backing up. Torres nods at Drake to acknowledge the strikes.

Drake closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Torres shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drake but Drake pushes him off and we're back to square one.
