Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Marchegiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Vredenburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dante Vredenburg!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vredenburg throws a right and a left that Marchegiano avoids nicely.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vredenburg.
Marchegiano misses with a looping left.
Marchegiano misses with a hook. Vredenburg ducked under it nicely.
Marchegiano takes a swing at Vredenburg's ribcage but misses.
Vredenburg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vredenburg throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Vredenburg misses with a head kick.
Vredenburg lands with a shot to the body.
Marchegiano is breathing heavily.
Vredenburg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vredenburg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vredenburg.
Vredenburg tries a head kick but it misses.
Vredenburg avoids the body shot from Marchegiano.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marchegiano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Vredenburg lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Vredenburg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Vredenburg lands a nice looking body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vredenburg thumps Marchegiano with a low kick.
Marchegiano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oooooh!!! Vredenburg has knocked Marchegiano down with a huge combo! Vredenburg steps away and waves a wobbly Marchegiano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jab, jab by Vredenburg - just one landing.
Marchegiano is rocked!
Vredenburg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marchegiano circles away quickly and effectively.
Vredenburg throws a nice outside leg kick.
Vredenburg drops Marchegiano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Marchegiano looks back up at him and smiles so Vredenburg waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Marchegiano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vredenburg thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Marchegiano if he has to take too many more of those.
Marchegiano loses concentration momentarily and Vredenburg pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Marchegiano crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Vredenburg finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dante Vredenburg!
Dante Vredenburg decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
